Salt Spring National Art Prize

The Salt Spring Arts Council, which represents the arts for Salt Spring Island, one of Canada’s premier arts communities, initiated this distinguished national juried show featuring the best in Canadian art. The aim of SSNAP is to encourage artists whose practice demonstrates originality, quality, integrity and creativity, resulting in significant work with a real visual impact and depth of meaning.

We established a vivid and striking identity to capture the attention and imagination of artists, curators and patrons. We supported this with marketing collateral and advertising campaigns in traditional print, online and in social media across Canada. The culmination of the first edition of this biennial was an elegant 120 page art catalogue featuring artworks and artists’ statements of the 50 finalists.
